1. Data we may process

Farmatalento processes only the data needed to respond to enquiries, manage professional relationships and carry out Executive Search and recruitment processes.

  • Identity and contact details, such as name, email, voluntarily supplied professional phone number and location.
  • Professional information included in a CV, public professional profile or correspondence: education, experience, responsibilities, skills, languages, availability, motivation and career or remuneration expectations.
  • Client, prospective client, supplier and professional contact data needed to manage the relationship.
  • Basic technical navigation and security information, such as IP address, device type or technical logs, where processed by the hosting infrastructure.

2. Sources of personal data

Data may come directly from the individual —for example, when they email or submit a CV—, from clients or contacts making a professional referral, or from legitimately accessible professional sources, such as published profiles on professional networks.

Where data is not obtained directly from the individual, Farmatalento will provide the information required by law at first contact, within the applicable time limit or before disclosing the data to a third party, as relevant.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Data is processed for the following purposes and under the legal basis applicable in each case:

  • Responding to enquiries and information requests: steps taken at the individual’s request before entering into a contract and, where appropriate, legitimate interests in responding to professional contacts.
  • Assessing profiles, proposing opportunities and managing recruitment processes: the candidate’s consent, steps requested before entering into a contract and, for direct search, legitimate interests subject to an assessment of necessity, proportionality and reasonable expectations.
  • Presenting a candidate to a specific client and coordinating interviews: carrying out the process with the candidate’s prior knowledge.
  • Managing client, supplier and collaborator relationships: performance of a contract, pre-contractual steps and legitimate interests in maintaining professional relationships.
  • Meeting tax, accounting, administrative and other legal requirements: compliance with a legal obligation.

4. Disclosure of personal data

Farmatalento does not sell personal data. Candidate data will only be disclosed to clients or organisations involved in a specific process when necessary and after the candidate has been properly informed.

Technology, hosting, email, storage, administration and support providers may also access data under the applicable contractual and confidentiality obligations. Personal data may be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.

5. International transfers

Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, Farmatalento will use providers offering appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another mechanism recognised by data protection law.

6. Retention periods

Personal data will be kept only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected and to address any applicable legal liabilities.

  • Enquiries: until resolved and subsequently for the periods needed to address possible liabilities.
  • Professional profiles and applications: throughout the relevant process and for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless the individual requests earlier deletion or authorises an update or a new retention period.
  • Contractual and invoicing records: throughout the relationship and for the applicable statutory tax, accounting and liability periods.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, portability where applicable and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

To exercise these rights, email antonio.morales@farmatalento.com, stating which right you wish to exercise and providing only the information needed to verify your identity. You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe that the processing does not comply with the law.

8. Confidentiality and security

Farmatalento applies reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. Access is limited to those who need the data for the purposes described and are subject to confidentiality duties.

Please do not send special-category data —such as health information, political opinions, religion or trade-union membership— unless it is strictly necessary, has been specifically requested and there is a valid legal basis for processing it.

9. Cookies and technical data

Farmatalento’s current website does not use its own advertising or behavioural analytics cookies. The hosting infrastructure may use technologies that are strictly necessary for security, service delivery and the technical operation of the website. If non-essential cookies are introduced in the future, this information will be updated and the appropriate consent mechanism will be enabled before they are used.

10. Children and policy updates

Farmatalento’s services are intended for professionals and organisations, not children. Children’s personal data should not be submitted through the website.

This policy may be updated to reflect regulatory, technical or processing changes. The version displayed on this page, together with its update date, is the current version.
